PLASTERING SERVICES

Skimming

Two-coat skim plaster applied 3-6mm thick and trowelled to a smooth finish ready for decorating. Our most popular services include multi-finish plastering, board finish plastering and plastering over Artex.

Monocouche render

With colour renders there is no need to paint – the render is the finished article. They come in a wide range of different colours and there are many different brands to choose from; Weber, K Rend and Parex to name a few. Mesh can be pressed into the backing coat to reduce cracking.

Rendering

Sand and cement is mixed and applied to exterior brick/blockwork in two coats. The first coat is applied then scratched to give a key for next coat; next a top coat is applied; then ruled off straight and rubbed to a smooth finish ready for painting.

Plasterboarding

Fixing plasterboard to timber studwork or dry lining (dot and dab) to brick walls.

Preparation

Preparation of surfaces with bonding plaster and angle beading.

Straightening

Straightening uneven walls or ceilings.

Repairs

Removing blown plaster and making patch repairs.
